These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Taskee ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Taskee platform and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Taskee is an AI-powered task management platform that enables users to:
- Connect and sync tasks from third-party project management tools (such as Jira, ClickUp, Linear, and others)
- View and manage tasks in a unified interface
- Run AI-powered actions and automations on tasks
- Create automated workflows (pipelines) for task processing
- Push changes back to connected source systems
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
3.2 Account Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
3.3 Team Accounts
If you create a team account or are invited to join a team, you agree to the applicable team administrator's policies regarding data access and use within the team workspace.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
- Use the Service for any purpose that is fraudulent or illegal
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these acceptable use provisions.
5. Third-Party Integrations
The Service allows you to connect third-party services such as Jira, ClickUp, Linear, and others ("Third-Party Services"). By connecting a Third-Party Service:
- You authorize us to access and sync data from those services as described in our Privacy Policy
- You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect and sync data
- You acknowledge that your use of Third-Party Services is subject to their respective terms and policies
- You understand that we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of Third-Party Services
We may add, modify, or remove integrations at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of changes that may affect your connected integrations.
6. AI Features and Limitations
6.1 AI-Powered Features
Taskee uses artificial intelligence to provide features such as task analysis, recommendations, and automated workflows. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected results
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before use
- AI features are provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy or completeness
- We may use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to deliver AI features
6.2 Usage Limits
AI features may be subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify usage limits and pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Taskee and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our prior written consent.
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service.
7.3 Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use such feedback without any obligation to compensate you.
8. Subscription and Payment
8.1 Pricing
Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time with 30 days' notice.
8.2 Billing
For paid subscriptions, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated otherwise.
8.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content or data synced from Third-Party Services.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASKEE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Taskee and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) Your Content.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- You may request export of Your Content before termination where possible
- We may delete Your Content after a reasonable period following termination
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification)
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us at legal@taskee.dev to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
13.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Taskee regarding the Service.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
